ATHENS. EODY announced 1,194 confirmed new cases and 68 deaths on Saturday 12 December.
EODY announced that there were 1,194 confirmed new cases today. 22 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 123,842, of which 52.6% are males. 5,100 (4.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 35,290 (28.4%) are connected with known cases.
577 patients - 169 female, 408 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 76.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 718 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 68 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 3,540. 1,421 (40.1%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.9% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
