ATHENS. EODY announced 1,677 confirmed new cases and 95 deaths on Wednesday 9 December.
EODY announced that there were 1,677 confirmed new cases today. 10 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 119,720, of which 52.7% are males. 5,038 (4.2%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 33,160 (27.7%) are connected with known cases.
578 patients - 172 female, 406 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 75.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 691 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 95 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 3,289. 1,312 (39.9%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
