ATHENS. EODY announced 1,251 confirmed new cases and 89 deaths on Monday 7 December.
EODY announced that there were 1,251 confirmed new cases today. 20 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 116,721, of which 52.7% are males. 5,007 (4.3%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 31.293 (26.8%) are connected with known cases.
600 patients - 167 female, 433 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 75.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 668 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 89 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 3,092. 1,237 (40%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
