ATHENS. EODY announced 1,383 confirmed new cases and 98 deaths on Saturday 5 December.
EODY announced that there were 1,383 confirmed new cases today. 14 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 114,568, of which 52.8% are males. 4,981 (4.3%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 30,207 (26.4%) are connected with known cases.
594 patients - 171 female, 423 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 77.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 641 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 98 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 2,902. 1,156 (39.8%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.1% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
