ATHENS. EODY announced 2,186 confirmed new cases and 89 deaths on Wednesday 2 December.
EODY announced that there were 2,186 confirmed new cases today. 28 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 109,655, of which 52.9% are males. 4,949 (4.5%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 29,923 (26.5%) are connected with known cases.
613 patients - 175 female, 438 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 76.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 611 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 89 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 2,606. 1,055 (40.5%) were females and the average age was 80. 96.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
