CORFU. The doctor, who works at the hospital, has leg and spinal fractures but is out of danger.
A doctor was taken to hospital this afternoon, Thursday 19 November, with leg and spinal fractures and cuts after an accident at home.
The 45-year-old orthopaedic doctor who works at Corfu Hospital fell from a balcony at his home in Korakiana whilst - according to information received - trying to enter the house having forgotten his keys.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance accompanied by police patrol cars and now remains hospitalised there without serious cause for concern.
