ATHENS. EODY announced 2,422 confirmed new cases and 63 deaths on Tuesday 17 November.
EODY announced that there were 2,422 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 78,825, of which 53.8% are males. 4,685 (5.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 20,225 (25.7%) are connected with known cases.
443 patients - 143 female, 300 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 81.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 392 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 63 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 1,228. 502 (40.9%) were females and the average age was 80. 97.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
