ATHENS. EODY announced 2,198 confirmed new cases and 59 deaths on Monday 16 November.
EODY announced that there were 2,198 confirmed new cases today. 21 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 76,403, of which 53.9% are males. 4,675 (6.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 19,638 (25.7%) are connected with known cases.
400 patients - 126 female, 274 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 79.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 383 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 59 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 1,165. 473 (40.6%) were females and the average age was 80. 97.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
