ATHENS. EODY announced 1,914 confirmed new cases and 35 deaths on Sunday 8 November.
EODY announced that there were 1,914 confirmed new cases today. 39 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 56,698, of which 54.2% are males. 4,429 (7.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 15,678 (27.7%) are connected with known cases.
228 patients - 57 female, 171 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 88.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 323 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 35 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 784. 316 (40.3%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
