ATHENS. EODY announced 2,917 confirmed new cases and 29 deaths on Thursday 5 November.
EODY announced that there were 2,917 confirmed new cases today. 27 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 49,807, of which 54.5% are males. 4,303 (8.6%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 14,879 (29.9%) are connected with known cases.
187 patients - 43 female, 144 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 90.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 310 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 29 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 702. 275 (39.2%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
