ATHENS. EODY announced 1,678 confirmed new cases and 9 deaths on Sunday 1 November.
EODY announced that there were 1,678 confirmed new cases today. 91 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 25 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 40,929, of which 55.1% are males. 4,137 (10.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 13,493 (33%) are connected with known cases.
140 patients - 37 female, 103 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 93.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 291 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 635. 241 (38%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
