Number of daily cases passes 2,000 - EODY reports 2,056 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today with 135 patients intubated

EODY announced that there were 2,056 confirmed new cases today. 62 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 22 were detected at entry points.

The total number of cases in Greece is now 39,251, of which 55.1% are males. 4,112 (10.5%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 13,278 (33.8%) are connected with known cases.

135 patients - 38 female, 97 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 93.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 291 patients have been discharged from ICUs

There were 6 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 626. 238 (38%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
