EODY: 482 confirmed new cases in Greece today - 1 in Corfu
ATHENS. EODY announced 482 confirmed new cases and 10 deaths on Saturday 17 October.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 24,932 (+2%), of which 55.6% are males. 3,475 (13.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 10,037 (40.3%) are connected with known cases.
83 patients - 24 female, 59 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 95.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 256 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 10 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 500. 188 (37.6%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
