CORFU. DEDDIE crews are at work repairing the damage at Alepou substation.
There was a power outage in Corfu Town and several neighbouring districts just after 17:30 on Sunday 11 October due to damage at the Alepou substation.
The damage is still being inspected but, according to DEDDIE, it was probably due to a bird flying into the substation which provides power for Corfu Town and suburbs.
Technical crews from DEDDIE are busy working to repair the damage and it is considered just a matter of time before power is restored.
