ATHENS. EODY announced 407 confirmed new cases on Wednesday 7 October.
EODY announced that there were 407 confirmed new cases today. 56 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 25 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 20,947, of which 55.9% are males. 3,150 (15%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 8,559 (40.9%) are connected with known cases.
88 patients - 24 female, 64 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 90.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 232 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 4 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 424. 158 (37.3%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
