ATHENS. EODY announced 399 confirmed new cases on Tuesday 6 October.
EODY announced that there were 399 confirmed new cases today. 55 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 33 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 20,541, of which 55.9% are males. 3,122 (15.2%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 8,385 (40.8%) are from contacts with known cases.
87 patients - 24 female, 63 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 89.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 229 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 3 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 420. 158 (37.6%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
