ATHENS. EODY announced 460 confirmed new cases for Friday 2 October.
EODY announced that there were 460 confirmed new cases today. 142 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 26 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 19,346, of which 56.8% are males. 2,991 (15.5%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 7,967 (41.2%) are from contacts with known cases.
85 patients - 26 female, 59 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 88.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 217 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 5 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 398. 147 (36.9%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
