ATHENS. EODY announced that there were 315 confirmed new cases on Saturday 26 September and 7 deaths.
EODY announced that there were 315 confirmed new cases today. 59 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 19 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 17,228, of which 55.8% are males. 2,783 (16.2%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 7,131 (41.4%) are from contacts with known cases.
68 patients - 16 female, 52 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 86.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. Two of the patients are in the 18 - 39 age group. 199 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 7 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 376. 140 (37.2%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.8% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
