CORFU. High school pupils, the teachers΄ union and the PGA union held a demonstration today protesting against the health conditions in schools and lack of cleaners and teaching staff.
Teachers, parents and pupils demonstrated in Corfu this afternoon, Friday 25 September.
They were protesting about their concerns during the pandemic - the number of pupils per class, proper cleaning (according to the EODY protocol) of schools, the lack of teaching staff and insufficient school facilities.
The protestors set off from the Corfu Town High Schools and then marched through the town streets. High school pupils, the teachers' union and the PGA union all took part in the demonstration.
