EODY: 342 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 9 deaths

EODY announced that there were 342 confirmed new cases today. 24 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 30 were detected at entry points.

The total number of cases in Greece is now 16,627, of which 55.7% are males. 2,726 (16.4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 6,915 (41.6%) are from contacts with known cases.

68 patients - 21 female, 47 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 86.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 192 patients have been discharged from ICUs

There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 366. 135 (36.9%) were females and the average age was 78. 97% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
