EODY: 170 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 7 deaths

EODY announced that there were 170 confirmed new cases today. 33 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 12 were detected at entry points.

The total number of cases in Greece is now 15,142, of which 55.7% are males. 2,591(17.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 6,348 (41.9%) are from contacts with known cases.

78 patients - 24 female, 54 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 70.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 177 patients have been discharged from ICUs

There were 7 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 338. 126 (37.3%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.

89 in Attica - 12 of which were connected with known clusters and 3 with recent travel in Greece
11 in Thessaloniki - 2 of which were connected with a known cluster
22 in Samos - 21 connected with a cluster at Samos migrant camp
4 in Pieria
3 in Pellas - 1 connected with recent travel in Greece
2 in Corinth
2 in Preveza
1 in Ioannina
1 in Kalymnos
1 in Trikala
