ATHENS. EODY announced that there were 359 confirmed new cases for Thursday 17 September.
EODY announced that there were 359 confirmed new cases today. 21 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 36 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 14,400, of which 55.6% are males. 2,500 (17.4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 6,070 (42.2%) are from contacts with known cases.
69 patients - 21 female, 48 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 87% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 178 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 325. 121 (37.2%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
Of the 322 domestic cases, 21 are connected with known clusters and 11 with recent travel in Greece.
