EODY: 248 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 3 deaths

ATHENS. Total number of cases now over 12,000 and total deaths 293.
EODY announced 248 new confirmed cases on Wednesday 9 September, 19 of which were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 12,080, of which 55.6% are males. 2,297 (19%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 5,296 (43.8%) are from contacts with known cases.
46 patients - 10 female, 35 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 87% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 167 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 3 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 293. 108 (36.9%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
