ATHENS. The total number of cases in Greece is now 11,832, of which 55.8% are males. 2,274 (19.2%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 5,204 (44%) are from contacts with known cases.
EODY announced 169 new confirmed cases on Tuesday 8 September, 15 of which were detected at entry points.

42 patients - 10 female, 32 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 88.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 164 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There was 1 death today taking the total number of fatalities to 290. 107 (36.9%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.2% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
