CORFU. Dairpfeld St., leading to Mon Repos, resembled a war zone last night.
A large tree fell, completely crushing a motorcycle as well as causing serious damage to a parked car and a car that was passing.
Just after 10:30pm on Saturday night, suddenly and for no obvious reason, a large tree in the garden of a private house next to the playground of the primary school fell - filling the road with debris, wood, stones and dust.
The Fire Department came immediately to remove the fallen tree and the insurance companies' tow-away trucks took away the damaged vehicles.
