EODY: 187 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 1 death

ATHENS. EODY announced 187 new confirmed cases on Saturday 5 September, 27 of which were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 11,386, of which 55.7% are males. 2,219 (19.5%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 4,970 (43.7%) are from contacts with known cases.
40 patients - 10 female, 30 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 82.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 157 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There was 1 death today taking the total number of fatalities to 280. 103 (36.8%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.1% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
