CORFU. Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality will be taking part in European Mobility Week (16 - 22 September) and World Car Free Day.
Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality will be taking part in European Mobility Week (16 - 22 September), which includes World Car Free Day on the 22nd.
The European Union encourages member-states and European towns to undertake initiatives and activities to promote sustainable mobility through the use of environmentally-friendly means of transport.
The theme of this year's European Mobility Week is "Zero-emission mobility for all" with the slogan 'Move responsibly!' and aims to promote sustainable means of mobility - walking, bicycle, public transport and a combination of these.
