EODY: 270 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 5 deaths

EODY announced 270 new confirmed cases on Friday 28 August, of which 26 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 9,800, of which 55.6% are males. 2,012 (20.5%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 4,347 (44.4%) are from contacts with known cases.
35 patients - 12 female, 23 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 42.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 147 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 5 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 259. 91 (35.1%) were females and the average age was 78. 93.78% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
