EODY: 168 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today and 1 death

ATHENS. EODY announced 168 new confirmed cases on Tuesday 25 August, of which 20 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 8,987, of which 55.43% are males. 1,910 (21.3%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 4,074 (45.3%) are from contacts with known cases.
31 patients -9 female, 22 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 38.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 143 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There was 1 death today taking the total number of fatalities to 243. 84 (34.7%) were females and the average age was 77. 94.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70
