ATHENS. The daily COVID-19 update from EODY for Wednesday 29 July.
EODY announced 57 new confirmed cases of coronavirus today, 10 of which were detected at entry points. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,336, of which 54.4% are males. 1,212 (28%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,157 (49.7%) are from contacts with known cases.
8 patients - 2 females, 6 males - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 56 and 75% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 127 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were no deaths today and the total number of fatalities remains at 203. 66 (32.5%) were females. The average age was 76 and 96.1% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.

18 in Attica
11 in Thessaloniki
7 in Kavala
2 in Lefkada
1 in Achaia
1 in Imathia
1 in Kilkis
1 in Corinth
1 in Dodecannese
1 in Rodopi
