CORFU. The tragedy occurred on Tuesday evening. Incident being investigated
A 12-year-old girl from Bulgaria on holiday with her family drowned at Avliotes beach on Tuesday evening. Attempts were made to resuscitate her but to no avail.
The girl was taken to Corfu Hospital, where an autopsy will be conducted.
