CORFU. An 72-year-old man was pulled out of the sea at Sidari. According to initial information, the man is a foreign national.
Two nearby people who saw him pulled him to the shore. He was in shallow water and seemed to be unconscious.
Witnesses say that two local doctors came and applied cardio-pulmonary resuscitation but were unable to bring him round. He was taken to Corfu Hospital, where there will be an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
