ATHENS. Total number of deaths now 193 - 10 patients intubated in ICUs - 14 of today΄s 27 cases were detected at entry points.
EODY announced that there were 27 new confirmed cases of coronavirus today, Tuesday 7 July, of which 14 were discovered after checks at entry points to the country and 3 other arrivals who volunteered to be tested.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,589, of which 54.7% are males. 868 (24.2%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,941 (54.1%) are from contacts with known cases.
10 patients are intubated in ICUs with an average age of 59. 90% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 121 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
An 83-year-old woman died on Monday evening, taking the total number of fatalities to193. 62 (32.1%) were females and the average age was 76. 95.9% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.

Of today's 27 cases, 14 were individuals who were checked at air or land points of entry, 3 were travellers who volunteered to be tested, 3 in Xanthi, 4 in Attica and 1 in each of Larissa, Kastoria and Karditsa.
