ATHENS. 9 of the 16 new cases were in Thrace (8 in Xanthi and 1 in Rodopi) - No deaths today - 8 patients remain intubated.
EODY announced that there were 16 new confirmed cases of coronavirus today, taking the total number of cases to 3,302, of which 55% are males.
Of the 16 new cases, 8 were in Xanthi, 1 in Rodopi, 2 in Paramythia, Thesprotia, 2 in Athens, 1 in Edessa and 2 arrivals in Promachonas on the Bulgarian border.
728 (22%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,844 (55.8%) are from contacts with known cases.
8 patients are intubated, with an average age of 61. 75% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 118 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
There were no deaths today, and the total number of fatalities remains at 190. 60 (31.6%) were females and the average age was 76. 95.8% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
