ATHENS. 9 patients intubated - Total number of deaths remains at 190
EODY announced that there were 10 new cases of coronavirus today, taking the total number of cases to 3,266, of which 55% are males.
720 (22%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,826 (55.9%) are from contacts with known cases. The remaining cases are neither from arrivals or contacts with known cases or are still under investigation.
9 patients are intubated, with an average age of 75. 2 (22.2%) are females and all of them have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 117 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
There were no deaths today, and the total number of fatalities remains at 190. 60 (31.6%) were females and the average age was 76.
Since 1 January 2020 a total of 283,146 tests have been carried out, of which 5,294 (1.9%) were positive for coronavirus (including tests that were carried out more than once on the same people).
