ATHENS. 12 patients are intubated - Total number of cases is 2,918 - Total number of deaths is 179.
In today's update EODY (National Public Health Organisation) announced that there were 2 new cases of coronavirus in Greece today, taking the total to 2,918, of which 55.1% are males.
637 (21.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,695 (58.1%) are from contacts with known cases. The remainder are not connected with either or are still being investigated.
There were 4 deaths, taking the total number of fatalities since the beginning of the pandemic to 179. The average age was 76.
12 patients are intubated, 75% of whom are males.
The average age of cases is 68 (ranging from 0 to 102) and the average age of those who died was 76 (ranging from 35 to 102).
Since 1 January 2020 there have been 182,423 clinical tests for coronavirus, of which 4,811 (2.6%) were positive (including more than one sample from those who were tested).
