At last - road being resurfaced in Mourayia

CORFU. Road resurfacing work began on Monday morning in Arseniou St. (Mourayia).
Damaged sections of the road are being repaired and resurfaced including the subsidence near Panagia Antivouniotissa.
Deputy Regional Governor Manolis Orphanoudakis told Enimerosi that the work is expected to be completed in 3 to 4 days and the road will be closed from 08:00 to 15:00 every day. During the remaining hours only one lane in the road will be open to traffic. Police will be responsible for diverting traffic.
The Deputy Regional Governors for Corfu and Infrastructure Melita Andrioti and Manolis Orphanoudakis said, "We request the cooperation and understanding of residents and drivers. We are working to improve the safety of the road network."
