ATHENS. In his daily update Professor of Infectious Diseases Sotiris Tsiodras said that the number of coronavirus cases in Greece continues to increase.
There were 31 new cases yesterday and the total has now reached 495 with 3 deaths in a 24-hour period. 9 people have now lost their lives.
Out of all the cases there are 84 whose source of infection is unknown. 90 are hospitalised, with 20 tubed, and their average is over 72. 19 have been discharged from hospital.
"It is unacceptable to have a case in the Dodecanese whose only contact with the virus was a visitor from Athens," said Mr. Tsiodras. "The least you can do is not to come into contact with anyone when you travel. These are not holidays. This type of behaviour makes our work much harder - how many times do we have to say it?"
