CORFU. Guidelines and precautionary measures from the Municipality for the greatest protection from coronavirus.
Measures being implemented by the Municipality of North Corfu for protection against coronavirus.

Wishing strength to those who don't have the option to stay at home - doctors, nurses, police, firefighters, armed forces, journalists, public and private employees and our municipal staff.
Also to those who have had to temporarily halt their businesses and shops.
At this difficult time for the public health it is the sacred duty of each and every one of us to do our bit to face up to this pandemic and protect our children, our parents, our grandparents, our friends and society.
North Corfu Municipal workers are in the front line and they must be protected. They also have children, parents and grandparents waiting for them at home.
As part of the protection measures being implemented throughout the country following the latest legislation we would like to inform you of the following as regards the Municipality of North Corfu:
1. Services for citizens
A. For non-urgent matters members of the public are requested not to come to the Municipal Services in person. Coming to the Town Hall without good reason doesn't benefit anybody, especially when there are means to provide the services required.
B. For matters that can't be taken care of electronically or by phone there will be a skeleton staff available, but ONLY after an appointment has been made by phone.
Therefore, in order to be properly served members of the public must first of all phone one of the numbers below to make an appointment:

3. The KEP for Agios Georgios, Esperion & Kassiopi will be closed.
There will be a skeleton staff at the KEP in the Municipal Building in Acharavi, Monday - Friday. Members of the public will be seen by appointment in order to avoid crowds.
4. Help at Home will operate with a skeleton staff.
5. All Municipal spaces will be closed (sports grounds, children's playgrounds etc.).
6. Lessons at the Municipal Philharmonic Societies in Thinalia, Avliotes and Karousades are suspended.
7. Disinfection will begin immediately at children's daycare centres and the Senior Citizens Day Care Centre. All the workplaces will be provided with items for protection suuch as gloves, masks, spirit, disinfectant etc.
Other information:
1. The deadline for submission of undeclared property has been extended to 30 June. Amendments to square metreage can only be made on the KEDE website (tetragonika.govapp.gr) with your TAXIS code. Contact the North Corfu Municipal Income Department if you have any questions.
2. Council Meetings can take place without physically coming together.
3. School Parades for 25th March are cancelled.
To conclude, to prevent the spreading of coronavirus we need to act responsibly - both individually and collectively - and calmly and methodically adhere to the guidelines and measures that have been announced.
Updates from the North Corfu Municipality will be given in line with guidelines coming from the State and the Region.
The Municipality of North Corfu would like to request the cooperation of everyone, whatever their age.
