Museums and archaeological sites closed until 30 March

Ministry Statement:
"Given that, due to the special circumstances, there is a lack of security personnel at museums and archaeological sites, according to information received by the Ministry of Culture this morning, the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, having consulted the Hellenic Federation of Ministry of Culture Personnel, has decided to close museums and archaeological sites until 30 March for the safety of the personnel. There will, of course, be the necessary security personnel at the sites during this time."

The statement also says: "Guidelines have also been issued for the meticulous cleansing of facilities used by all Ministry of Culture personnel."
