Man, 70, arrested for firing into the air near Corfu Port

CORFU. A 70-year-old man was arrested by the port authorities on Saturday evening.
According to the Port Authority, the 70-year-old man fired two shots into the air from a shotgun and was found in possession of seven 70mm cartridges, ten 70mm single bullet crtridges and a 28cm metal knife.
Two spent cartridges were also found in a nearby recycling bin.
Corfu Port Authority confiscated the shotgun and ammunition and is conducting an investigation.
