Bravo Sustainability Awards: Salty Bag wins award!

CORFU. Salty Bag, based in Corfu, won an award in the Bravo Sustainability Awards Marketing Axis.

The Awards Ceremony took place at Athens Concert Hall on Wednesday 18 December.

Salty Bag is an upcycling company making bags and travel goods from decommissioned sails and was the first company in Greece - in 2013 - to embrace the circular economy in business and implement sustainable practices.

The full-day event for the annual Bravo Sustainability Awards 2019 included a discussion on "Safeguarding the Quallity of Life during the Climate Crisis" in which the founder of Salty Bag Stratis Andreadis gave a presentation.

Following receipt of the award, Stratis Andreadis said, "Both personally and as co-founder of Salty Bag, I am proud that once again, with the Sustainability Awards, our pioneering efforts over the last few years and our innovative products can be showcased. It is greatly satisfying and gives us an even greater incentive to keep progressing. We want to make products properly and beautifully for the Anthropocene era."
