CORFU. The 58-year-old victim who was in Corfu Hospital ICU is now at an Athens hospital following an airlift with a C-130 plane.
The 58-year-old man who was a victim of Friday's fire in Mantouki is now hospitalised in Athens in a serious condition.
The man, who had been intubated in the Intensive Care Unit at Corfu General Hospital was airlifted by C-130 plane on Sunday evening and is now in a Burns Unit at an Athens hospital with serious burns which could lead to infection as well as problems due to his inhalation of carbon monoxide.
The 13-year-old girl is well apart from some relatively minor injuries (from her jump from the 3rd floor) and her mother, although out of danger, still has serious problems and is hospitalised in a surgical unit at Corfu General Hospital.
The father, who had been trapped on the roof before being rescued by a Municipal crane truck, is in better health but is need of psychological care and support - as is his daughter.
