Recycling reaches Dafni - another new Green Spot

CORFU. Yet another step in raising public awareness about recycling - this time in Dafni, North Corfu.
A recycling meeting took place in Dafni yesterday, Saturday November 30, at which the Mayor of North Corfu Giorgos Mahimaris updated attendees on the latest developments regarding waste management.
The meeting, which was a great success, was organised by Dafni Local Council and Gavrades Cultural Society in the old village school.
The North Corfu Municipal Councillor responsible for Recycling Spyridoula Kokkali gave a presentation on the work being done by the new Municipality regarding sorting at source and the best possible management of waste. Municipal Councillor Panayiotis Papadatos was also present.
In the near future a new Green Spot will be set up in Dafni in collaboration with the Local Council and Gavrades Cultural Society.
