Corfu Philharmonic Society is putting on the well-known operetta 'Miriella' by the Corfu composer Alexandros Grek (1876 - 1959).
'Miriella' was written when Grek was in Alexandria and was first performed at the Alexandria summer theatre in August 1932 by a Greek company with Zozo Dalmas in the leading role.
On 6 and 7 December, about 70 years after the previous performance in Corfu, the Corfu public will have the chance to see the operetta at the Municipal Theatre at 20:30.
