CORFU. Pupils from Avliotes Primary School visited Acharavi Green Spot yesterday.
On the initiative of School Principal Aristidis Katomeris 107 pupils were shown round the facility, learned about recycling and played games. After the visit they were taken on an excursion to Agios Spyridonas and Yialiskari beach.
Since August 500 school pupils and 35 teachers have visited Acharavi Green Spot to learn about recyclable materials, the importance of sorting at source and ways of reducing our waste!
