Semi-conscious woman, 46, pulled out of sea in Garitsa

CORFU. The woman was saved by bike police who quickly reached the spot at the Mayor΄s Step (Skala tou Dimarchou).
A 46-year-old semi-conscious woman was pulled out of Garitsa Bay by police on Sunday evening.
According to the police press release, following an emergency call, bike police rushed to the spot at the Mayor's Step (Skala tou Dimarchou) and were able to quickly locate the woman and pull her out of the sea.
She was given first aid and then taken by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital for hospitalisation.
