Firefighters put out boat fire at Gouvia Marina

CORFU. None of the three foreign nationals on board suffered injuries.
Fire broke out on Wednesday night on a boat with a Dutch flag which was moored at Gouvia Marina. The Coast Guard rushed to the scene and with the assistance of the Fire Service were able to put out the fire.
There were three foreign nationals on board, none of whom suffered injuries. There was no damage to neighbouring boats and no sea pollution.
The incident is being investigated by Corfu Central Port Authority and the boat has been prohibited from sailing until it gets a certificate of seaworthiness.
