CORFU. There was a road accident at Tzavros junction just after 8 o΄clock last night.
There was only material damage following the collision between two cars but where the accident happened - the busy junction - confirmed people's warnings of an imminent accident due to the traffic lights being out of order.
Deputy Regional Governor Nikoletta Pandi had issued a statement regarding the traffic lights just a few hours before. She said that she has requested the assistance of the Traffic Police and that all drivers should follow the Highway Code.
