WWF ΄Blue Panda΄ yacht coming to the Ionian

The boat will visit Zakynthos, Ithaca and Cephalonia from 20 to 30 July.
WWF Greece is inviting the public to visit the Blue Panda yacht to meet the WWF team to chat and exchange views regarding the drilling for hydrocarbons in the Ionian Sea. The public will also be given a guided tour of the vessel and have the opportunity to take part in activities on each of the islands (e.g. photography exhibition, screening of underwater VR video, interactive events, take photos etc.).
The Blue Panda will visit Zakynthos, Ithaca and Cephalonia from 20 to 30 July.
Zakynthos (Porto Port): 20/7 (20:00 - 22:00) / 21-22/7 (18:00 - 22:00)
Ithaca (Vathi Port): 25 - 26/7 (18:00 - 22:00)
Cephalonia (Sami Port): 28 - 30/7 (18:00 - 22:00)
The visit of Blue Panda to Greece is part of the WWF campaign in the Mediterranean to raise public awareness regarding the latest environmental challenges being faced by Mediterranean sea life.
In the upcoming months the Blue Panda will sail across the Mediterranean (France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia and Morocco) to promote the unique Mediterranean biodiversity and the immediate threats it is facing such as marine pollution from plastic waste, overfishing and drilling for hydrocarbons.
